Emergency Care & Escalation Policy

IMPORTANT NOTICE – NOT FOR EMERGENCIES
THE TRTBOSS PLATFORM IS NOT DESIGNED FOR EMERGENCY OR URGENT MEDICAL CARE. IF YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, CALL 911 OR GO TO THE NEAREST EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT IMMEDIATELY.
1. Purpose and Scope
This Emergency Care & Escalation Policy (“Policy”) explains how medical emergencies and urgent health conditions are addressed in connection with use of the TRTBOSS technology platform (the “Platform”).
The Platform is operated by VALKORA LLC, a Texas limited liability company, doing business as TRTBOSS (“TRTBOSS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
TRTBOSS is a non-clinical technology company and management services organization that facilitates access to telehealth services provided by independent, licensed healthcare professionals (“Clinicians”).
This Policy applies to all users, including patients, prospective patients, and visitors, regardless of whether medical services are ultimately provided.
2. No Emergency or Urgent Care Services
The Platform is not designed for emergency or urgent medical care and does not provide:
Emergency medical services
Crisis intervention services
Real-time or continuous monitoring
Immediate response to urgent or time-sensitive health conditions
Telehealth services accessed through the Platform are limited in scope and are not appropriate for conditions requiring immediate, in-person medical attention.
3. What Constitutes a Medical Emergency
A medical emergency may include, but is not limited to:
Chest pain, pressure, or tightness
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Loss of consciousness or fainting
Severe allergic reactions
Uncontrolled bleeding
Sudden neurological symptoms (such as weakness, numbness, confusion, or slurred speech)
Severe or rapidly worsening pain
Any condition that a reasonable person would believe requires immediate medical attention
This list is not exhaustive.
4. Required Emergency Actions
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency or urgent health condition, you must:
Call 911 immediately, or
Go to the nearest emergency department or urgent care facility
You must not:
Attempt to use the Platform for emergency care
Submit messages through the Platform
Wait for a response from a Clinician
Relying on telehealth services in an emergency may result in serious harm or death.
5. Escalation to In-Person Care
During telehealth services, a Clinician may determine, in their independent medical judgment, that your condition requires:
In-person evaluation
Additional diagnostic testing
Referral to a specialist
Emergency or urgent care services
If such a determination is made, you are responsible for promptly seeking the recommended care.
Failure to do so may result in delayed treatment, worsening of your condition, or adverse health outcomes.
6. Asynchronous Communication and Response Limitations
Certain communications through the Platform may be asynchronous and are not monitored continuously.
You acknowledge that:
Response times are not guaranteed
Messages may not be reviewed immediately
The Platform is not monitored for emergencies or time-sensitive conditions
Neither TRTBOSS nor Clinicians assume responsibility for monitoring communications for urgent or emergent needs.
7. Patient Responsibilities
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for:
Recognizing when a condition may require emergency or urgent care
Seeking immediate in-person medical attention when appropriate
Not relying on the Platform for emergency medical needs
Informing emergency or in-person healthcare providers of any medications, treatments, or recommendations received through telehealth

In the event of any conflict, applicable law and the independent medical judgment of the treating Clinician control.
9. Modifications
This Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law, regulatory guidance, or operational practices.
