hCG Human Chorionic Gonadotropin

U.S. Licensed Clinician supervised hCG Therapy using FDA Approved, Commercially Manufactured Medication. Shipped by Licensed U.S. Pharmacies

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone involved in endocrine signaling and has been used in clinical medicine for decades. In men, hCG acts on luteinizing hormone (LH) receptors and may be considered by a licensed clinician in specific treatment contexts as part of an individualized care plan.

FDA Approved, Commercially Manufactured Product Standard

TRTBOSS prioritizes the use of FDA-approved, commercially manufactured hCG when clinically appropriate.

  • Dispensed pursuant to a valid prescription

  • Manufactured under applicable FDA requirements for licensed biologic products

  • Subject to standardized potency, sterility, and lot controls

  • Not compounded or reformulated.

This approach emphasizes consistency and established pharmaceutical quality standard

  • hCG Therapy requires bloodwork. If you are combining hCG therapy with other therapies offered by TRTBOSS that includes blood panels they can be used or it can be purchased individually. You can also bring your own labs that are less than 45 days old as long as they contain the required bio markers.

Clinical Use Context

When prescribed by a licensed clinician, hCG may be considered in care plans where clinical objectives can include:

  • Supporting endogenous hormone signaling pathways under medical supervision

  • Preserving aspects of testicular function as part of a clinician-directed protocol

  • Addressing patient-specific goals discussed during evaluation and follow-up

Treatment decisions are individualized. hCG is not appropriate for everyone, and outcomes vary by patient.

Individual responses vary, and no specific outcome is guaranteed.

hCG may be considered by a licensed clinician for certain adult male patients based on individual medical evaluation and treatment goals. Clinical considerations may include:

  • Reproductive planning considerations
Some patients discuss fertility preservation or future family planning as part of broader endocrine care conversations.

  • Endogenous hormone pathway considerations
In some clinical contexts, clinicians evaluate therapies that act on the body’s existing hormone signaling pathways rather than direct hormone replacement.

Do not use if you have prostate cancer or other androgen-dependent neoplasms.

  • Age and long-term treatment considerations
Clinicians may take patient age, medical history, and long-term care objectives into account when evaluating potential treatment options.

hCG is not appropriate for all individuals. Treatment decisions are made solely by licensed clinicians, and individual responses vary.

hCG is administered via subcutaneous injection as determined by a licensed clinician.

Specific dosing schedules, preparation, administration technique, and storage instructions are provided directly by the dispensing pharmacy and/or supervising clinician based on individual medical evaluation.

Active Ingredient:
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) (USP).

Diluent:
Bacteriostatic Water for Injection.

hCG Clinical Considerations

Testicular Function

Command your cravings

In certain care plans, clinicians may evaluate hCG in relation to maintaining aspects of testicular function as part of an individualized, clinician-directed approach.

Endocrine Signaling Pathway

Command your cravings-1

hCG may be evaluated by licensed clinicians in specific clinical contexts due to its interaction with luteinizing hormone (LH) receptors as part of broader endocrine signaling pathways.

LH-Receptor Activity

Medication + appetite regulation

hCG exhibits luteinizing hormone (LH)–like activity and acts on LH receptors as part of endocrine signaling pathways. When prescribed, clinicians may consider this mechanism within the context of an individualized care plan.

Personalized Clinical Evaluation

Command your cravings-6

All hCG therapy decisions are made solely by licensed clinicians following a comprehensive medical review. Treatment is considered only when deemed clinically appropriate for the individual.

FDA-Approved Commercial Medication

1

When prescribed, hCG is dispensed as a commercially manufactured, FDA-approved product subject to standardized potency, sterility, and quality controls.

How Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) Is Used in Clinician-Directed Care

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone that has been utilized in clinical medicine for decades and is regulated in the U.S. as a prescription-only biologic. In men, hCG exhibits luteinizing hormone (LH)–like activity and interacts with LH receptors involved in endocrine signaling pathways. Licensed clinicians may evaluate this mechanism in specific clinical contexts as part of an individualized care plan.

Unlike direct hormone replacement therapies that introduce exogenous testosterone, hCG acts on existing hormonal signaling pathways. For some patients, clinicians may consider this interaction when discussing broader treatment objectives, including long-term endocrine considerations and individualized care goals. Treatment decisions are based on comprehensive medical review, clinician judgment, and ongoing monitoring, and hCG is not appropriate for all individuals.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. TRTBOSS prescribes hCG strictly for the treatment of hypogonadism and fertility issues. We do not prescribe hCG for weight loss. There is no substantial evidence that hCG increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction.

It depends on your biology. Because hCG relies on your testicles to do the work, the “ceiling” is determined by your natural capacity. For many men, it restores levels to a healthy, optimal range. For those with primary testicular failure, TRT may be more effective.

Yes. Many men start with hCG Monotherapy to “test” their natural capacity. If levels don’t reach the desired range, your physician can transition you to the Apex Protocol™ (TRT + hCG).

Because hCG increases testosterone, it can also increase estrogen (via aromatization). Your provider may monitor your estradiol levels. Common side effects include injection site irritation or mild water retention.

Important Care Information

  • hCG is a prescription-only medication

  • Therapy is provided only after clinician review

  • FDA-approved commercial products are used

  • Medications are dispensed by licensed U.S. pharmacies

  • Individual results vary based on medical factors

This therapy is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease outside of approved medical use.

Clinical Basis for Therapy:
-Testosterone Restoration: European Journal of Endocrinology (2013). Studies indicate that hCG treatment effectively increases testosterone levels in men with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, often restoring levels to the eugonadal range.
-Fertility Preservation: Kim, S. O., et al. (2011). Use of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin for the Treatment of Male Infertility. (Demonstrates the efficacy of hCG in inducing spermatogenesis).
-Safety: Liu, P. Y., et al. (2002). Clinical data supports the long-term safety profile of hCG for maintenance of androgen levels in adult men.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
INDICATIONS: hCG is FDA-approved for the treatment of select cases of hypogonadism and prepubertal cryptorchidism.
WEIGHT LOSS DISCLAIMER: hCG HAS NOT BEEN DEMONSTRATED TO BE EFFECTIVE ADJUNCTIVE THERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF OBESITY. THERE IS NO SUBSTANTIAL EVIDENCE THAT IT INCREASES WEIGHT LOSS BEYOND THAT RESULTING FROM CALORIC RESTRICTION, THAT IT CAUSES A MORE ATTRACTIVE OR “NORMAL” DISTRIBUTION OF FAT, OR THAT IT DECREASES THE HUNGER AND DISCOMFORT ASSOCIATED WITH CALORIC RESTRICTED DIETS.
Contraindications: Do not use if you have prostate cancer or other androgen-dependent neoplasms.
Side Effects: May cause gynecomastia (breast enlargement), headache, irritability, or fluid retention.
